Toretore Market Nanki Shirahama

  • Specialty Products

The largest seafood market in Western Japan. The taste and freshness are best of all with reasonable prices.

The total area of the market is 15,000 tsubo (12.25 acres) with a parking capacity of 70 buses and 777 cars, which is the largest in Western Japan. They sell seasonal seafood from all over Japan as well as various local specialties. At any time, you can appreciate many kinds of fish such as Kue (long-tooth grouper) swimming in a huge water tank as big as tanks in an aquarium located dead ahead from the front entrance. In the tuna zone, they sell fresh tuna, which was caught in a nearby sea and never frozen, by pieces.
