Hakushika Memorial Sake Museum Foundation

The museum where you can learn the history of Japanese sake.
There are two museums, the Brewery Wing and the Memorial Wing.
In the Brewery Wing, located inside a brewery built in 1869, you can see brewing equipment, watch videos and listen to old songs of sake brewing.
You can also enter a vat with a diameter of 2.3m and take pictures of yourself wearing a Happi coat.
The Memorial Wing is a brick building that blends in with the townscape, and hosts 5 exhibitions a year including one about brewing information.
(Reopened in April 2016)
You can enjoy food and shopping next door at the "Hakushika Classics".
