THE TALE OF GENJI MUSEUM, UJI CITY

The setting of The Tale of Genji, a time travel to the capital of the Heian period.

In the permanent exhibition are life-size horse carts, replicas of Heian period furnishings, and a miniature replica of Rokujo-in, a vast manner. In addition, there is an introduction to ""the world of the Tale of Genji,"" colorfully incorporating video and audio.
In the museum are other special exhibits,and a museum shop.
