Japan’s largest megalithic structure

Asuka Historical National Government Park has founded by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to facilitate the protection and effective use of Asuka’s rich natural surroundings and cultural legacy.
This national park covers 60ha and consists of 5 districts of the Takamatsuzuka Area, the Ishibutai Area, the Amakashi-no-Oka Area, the Iwaido Area, and the Kitora Tumulus Area.
The estimated weight of Ishibutai Tumulus's largest ceiling stone is 77 tons and we actually feel the size in the stone chamber.
