This is one of the best 100 castles in Japan. Cherry blossoms and the views from Tenshukaku, castle tower, are extraordinarily beautiful.
The castle tower that remained even after the Edo period was burnt down during an air raid in 1945, and rebuilt with reinforced concrete in 1958.
