Suma Rikyu Park

- Tourist attractions
A park created on the site of the former imperial villa, "Suma Rikyu" (officially known as Mukogata Rikyu), which was once a retreat for the emperor. The vast grounds feature a botanical garden where visitors can enjoy seasonal landscapes and greenhouse plants, as well as a garden that retains traces of the old villa. There are plenty of seasonal events, and the field athletics area, equipped with 28 large play structures, is very popular with children. The "Noble's Rose Garden" in the European-style fountain garden boasts 300 varieties and 4,000 rose plants, offering wonderful views and fragrances in spring and autumn.
