The Maiko Seaside Promenade, located on the Kobe city side of one of the world’s leading suspension bridges, the "Akashi Kaikyō Bridge," is a circular walking path extending about 317 meters into the Akashi Strait, with a height of about 47 meters above sea level and about 150 meters from the land. The 47-meter-high wooden bridge over the sea offers an exhilarating experience! On the first floor of the promenade entrance, exhibits explain the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge in an easy-to-understand manner. The panoramic camera system on the 8th-floor lounge gives you the feeling of being on top of the main tower of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge (about 300 meters high). Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the seaside promenade while taking in the majestic views of the Akashi Kaikyō Bridge.
