Let’s think about nature and human beings
The Osaka Museum of Natural History displays fully reconstructed skeletons of ancient animals, including dinosaurs and prehistoric mastodons, as well as lifelike models, dioramas, photographs and panels showing the astonishing diversity of life on earth, and its even more astonishing evolution down through the ages. The museum is structured around a theme titled "The Relationship Between Humanity and Nature." The museum staff investigates and studies different fields of natural history, and collects samples and reference books, presenting the results to a wide range of Osaka citizens through permanent and special exhibitions. In addition, the staff conducts a number of natural history educational programs both inside and outside the museum.
