Museum for Tezuka Osamu, the god of manga comic and animation in Japan
This museum visualized the world of cartoonist Tezuka Osamu’s works such as “Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy)” and “Black Jack.” A standing statue of “Hinotori (Phoenix)” will welcome you as you enter the entrance hall. Inside the museum, exhibits are made by the images of “Tetsuwan Atom,” “Ribbon (or Princess) Knight,” etc. You will find the secret of Tezuka Osamu’s works by his biography displayed in the permanent exhibition space, where translated booklets are rented free. In the building, there is also a theater to view the original animation and an anime creation experience corner called “Anime Kobo”. Please enjoy the world of Tezuka Osamu regardless of your age.
