(C)KOBE CONVENTION & VISITORS ASSOCIATION

This museum exhibits the works of Ryohei Koiso, a Western-style painter born in Kobe who based his artistic activities in the city throughout his life. It features a rotating display of approximately 3,000 pieces, including oil paintings, sketches, and prints. A high-definition gallery provides detailed explanations of the artworks, allowing visitors to fully appreciate Koiso's artistic achievements. Additionally, the museum's courtyard houses a reconstructed and relocated version of the studio that Koiso used for 40 years.
