Opulent stage performed by all women cast
Takarazuka Revue Company is unique in the world for its all-women cast performing songs, dance and plays, from classical to contemporary. The Theater for Takarazuka was created in 1924. It houses 2,550 seats, which have been set to allow every seat a good view of the stage. Nearby is the Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum, dedicated to the world renowned cartoonist, Tezuka, who was associated with Takarazuka. (Photograph: Takarazuka Revue Company)
