A garden where one can enjoy Japanese seasonal changes
Kokoen is a Japanese style garden with a path around a central pond and spring (Chisen Kaiyu style), which was opened in 1992 next to the Himeji Castle. The garden is about 10,000 Tsubo (8 acres) and consists of nine different styles of gardens making use of chasms of old samurai sectors.
