The mountaintop, at an altitude of 630 meters, offers a magnificent panoramic view. In winter, it serves as a ski resort, while during the green season from spring to autumn, it transforms into the largest resort park in Kansai, featuring seasonal flower fields and picturesque photo spots.

Hakodateyama Ski Resort is well known across the entire Kansai region, located 690m above sea level in a mountainous region to the northwest of JR Omi-Imazu Station. Known for its heavy fall of quality snow, the richly varied piste allows everyone from beginners to experts to enjoy themselves. The use of artificial snow machines allows skiing to start in December.
